Thanks for this pictorial on the gorgeous St. Michael's Monastery Church. I was raised in that Parish during the 1970's and was confirmed there in 1981 just before the Passionist Order decided to close this amazing Basilica and sold it to a Koren Presbyterian Church. I literally have not been inside St. Michael's Church since 1981 and was curious as to whether it was still functioning as a Church or still standing. I can see from the photos that while this great basilica still bears the lush murals that I recall from my youth, it sadly is not being maintained. Thanks once again for posting these excellent photos...
